On Friday, September 30, 2022, we held an open day in the laboratory for optical telecommunications. The laboratory was visited by 25 first-year students of the School of Electrical Engineering. During the visit, the ORCA-LAB project was presented and the experimental settings for the characterization of the adaptive activation unit were shown. Students showed great interest in this multidisciplinary topic that combines photonics and artificial intelligence.
