Student work in our lab

Lately, we have been working closely with students to advance toward the investigation of all-optical digital logic gates and memories, which are based on a single Fabry-Perot laser diode under optical injection. Exploiting the laser’s multistability, we aim to demonstrate its reconfigurability between multi-gate/memory operations.
Soon, we will be one step closer to affordable and simple programmable photonics. Stay tuned!
