Our team member, Petar Atanasijeviฤ, showcased our work on Fabry-Perot LD-based all-optical sigmoid activation functions for neuromorphic photonic applications. The adaptivity of these activation functions, driven by the underlying physics of the laserโs dispersive bistability, was highlighted during the presentation. These results represent a significant milestone for the ORCA-lab project, bringing us closer to realizing a functional Reservoir Computer architecture.
